Comments about Baumkuchen:
Baumkuchen has been very popular in Japan, where I was born, and my all-time favorite. However, I have never found this fantastic pastry anywhere in the US, not even in Germany. Therefore, I needed to bring back from Tokyo whenever I had chance to visit there. Very happy to find it at Dean and Deluca. I enjoyed every mouthful of it.

Comments about Baumkuchen:
[...]Found the overall texture somewhat dry and crumbly, compared to the Japanese-made baumkuchens which are more moist and subtle in flavor. But this large-sized unusually shaped cake is a nice holiday statement on the table.

Comments about Baumkuchen:
I ordered a dozen of these cakes for my husband's unit in Iraq two years ago and they were a huge hit! They made the trip easily due to the packaging.
