I purchased these rugelach to serve to guests who eat strictly kosher. We were disappointed with the under-baked texture. The flavors were excellent and moist so this might have been simply a quality control problem.

Have elderly relatives in Europe and it's always a chore to come up with a gift that I feel they could use and like. We ordered two tins and after tasting the Rugelach was sure they would like them. My mom's cousin called and said they were heavenly. Unfortunately both tins were dented when I received them, so the packaging wasn't perfect.

When I opened the box of expensive very white soggy undercooked rugelach I thought, "Good thing I didn't send these as a gift!" But I knew exactly what to do next. I had brought them for a holiday dinner at a friend's house. We found a large cookie sheet, heated the oven, and popped all these rugelach in the oven. 30 minutes later they were perfect, brown, crunchy and delicious. An hour later they were gone!
