I'd never had a Hummingbird Cake and it was recommended by a Dean & Deluca concierge. It was a hit at my party. It's just a great cake. Great combination of ingredients, each bite was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was delicious (sweet and creamy but not too sweet). It's the slice of cake you eat when you're ready to have a real piece of cake.
