Bucatini, a thick, hollow, spaghetti-like pasta is made with stone-milled whole wheat and winter wheat combined with pure spring water from the Abruzzi Mountains. Shaped using a handcrafted circular bronze die that "rough cuts" the pasta, (which results in a texture that allows sauce to cling), then allowed to dry slowly for up to 48 hours at a very low temperature in order to bring out the true artisan flavor.
