I have ordered this again and again. Many times recipies call for the dried chili, but I am out or don't feel like messing with the toasting and soaking. I have substitued ancho chili powder numerous times, always a success.

I used this ancho chile powder in a pork stew, salsa and a chicken soup...perfect choice for low heat & very flavorful! I had a hard time findingit in my grocery store & Dean & DeLuca was right there --[...] great price. Glad I did not cave in and use another product in place of this unique chile powder1
