This is just the right amount of spice—far from mild, and you can make it even hotter by adding more. Really delightful. I have had great results from making a Thai style curry paste—smashing up fresh garlic and ginger and then then adding this powder to make a thick paste. Fry the paste in some oil before adding coco milk, and WHAM, curry sauce is done...!
