I actually love super hot foods. I eat serranos and jalapeños daily and habanero sauce at least 3-4 times per week. Having said that I love these red pepper flakes because I can add the crushed red pepper flavor with only a moderate amount of heat when I cook for my family and others who don't like it too hot. These are the only crushed red pepper flakes that I've found which achieve this balance. As such, these are the only crushed red pepper flakes I buy/cook with.
