Polenta with Parmesan and Fontina


Velvety, comforting and just cheesy enough, this side dish is so good it will become an instant star in its own right.

Ingredients:

  • ΒΌ cup polenta
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp. grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp. grated fontina
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • Salt and white pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat milk in saucepot and bring to boil.
  2. Slowly whisk in the polenta and turn heat to low.
  3. Cook polenta about 20-30 minutes until thickened and not grainy. Extra milk or water may need to be added.
  4. When polenta is cooked, finish with grated cheeses and check seasoning.
