Tastes great on pita bread. Rub a little olive oil on the pita, sprinkle the amount of Za'atar to your taste then warm it up in the oven. I also mix a little with scrambled eggs.

Comments about DEAN & DELUCA Za'atar:
This is the closest to my Syrian grandmothers Zatar that I could find. The taste is perfection. My usually picky boyfriend can't get enough of it. We've been mixing it with a good qaulity olive oil and dipping in warm pita bread.

I buy Zatar at the middle eastern store here but it taste old and stale, this one taste very good, I mix it with olive oil and make a good marinade for my chicken,

Comments about DEAN & DELUCA Za'atar:
I have recently mastered the Art of Breadmaking and found this to be a delicious topping sprinkled on foccacia after drizzling with extra virgin olive oil and before baking the bread. Goes well with any type of hearty yeast bread.
