Comments about Coconut Macaroons:
I got these as a gift. I'm a coconut macaroon junky. No matter where I go if there are coconut macaroons I have to try them and in the 40 years I've been sampling, Dean and Deluca were the absolute best. the sweetness, texture, size. just perfect.

Comments about Coconut Macaroons:
These are good, but I am accustomed to what I think is a more traditional macaroon made with unsweetened flake coconut and a slightly more dynamic texture. These were almost cake like and thus I missed the texture of toasted coconut flakes with a little crunch. At a whopping 130 calories each and with something like 33% of your saturated fat allotment, you don't want to unwrap more than one of these goodies a day! At first I thought the individual plastic wrap was wasteful, but now that I understand you need to savor these overtime, my environmentally conscious side is less bothered.
