When you order products from DEAN & DELUCA you can be assured we will ship your merchandise with the utmost care. We use only the best shipping processes to deliver products that are fresh and simply superb right to your door. Please check the information below to review our shipping policies.
Please check all addresses carefully. DEAN & DELUCA guarantees delivery only to the addresses that we are provided with. If we are unable to deliver the package, we will return your order to our distribution center. If the product arrives in good condition, we can send the package back out to you and charge you only the shipping and handling. If the product does not arrive in good condition, you will be responsible for the charges of a new order.
Shipping Options
All items are shipped from our fulfillment center in Wichita, Kansas or directly from our purveyors. We strive to ship orders within 24 hours of being placed. Delays may occur due to weather, availability or other circumstances. The shipping process for each location is as follows:
For items shipped from our fulfillment center:
For ground shipping, orders placed by Friday at 3:00 p.m. CST will ship that day. Orders shipping via ground shipping will arrive within 5 - 10 business days.
For overnight delivery (both regular and early a.m.), orders placed by Thursday at 3:30 p.m. CST will ship that day. Orders placed after that will ship the following Monday.
For overnight delivery on Friday, customers can choose Saturday delivery for orders placed by Friday at 3:30 p.m. CST.
UPS requires a signature for delivery to an apartment and someone must be present to accept the delivery with a signature unless otherwise requested.
Orders containing perishables, placed between 3:00 p.m. CST Thursday and 3:00 p.m. CST Monday, will ship on Monday if a Saturday delivery is not chosen.
Perishables
Please note that all perishable items are automatically shipped NEXT DAY (next business day) to ensure your product arrives in superb condition. All fresh and frozen food products are carefully packaged to maintain optimum quality. As needed, your order will be packed with dry ice or ice packs and placed in an insulated container for shipment.
Delivery
We guarantee delivery only to the address you provide. Shipments that you re-direct and shipments to incorrect or incomplete addresses cannot be guaranteed to deliver on time. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Saturday Delivery
This service is available in limited areas for an additional fee.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
DEAN & DELUCA takes great pride in selecting the finest products available. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for replacement, credit or refund. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of perishable items. We do not accept returned items that were purchased in one of our retail locations, nor will our retail locations accept returned items purchased from the catalog or from our website. We will accept non-perishable returns within 30 days of receipt. We cannot send a replacement, credit or refund for the purchase until we have the product back in inventory. If the product does not arrive in good condition to return to stock, then we will not be able to send a replacement, credit or refund for the purchase.
Wrap the package well, include the return form found on the back of the packing list/invoice enclosed in your order and ship it to us at the address below. Remember to insure it for full value. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Shipping Restrictions

Promotional shipping offers apply to orders that meet applicable sale amounts in merchandise before normal taxes and shipping/handling rates shipping to a single address only. Promotions do not apply to overnight delivery, 2nd day or Saturday delivery unless specifically denoted. Not valid outside the 48 contiguous United States, or to PO Boxes, APOs and FPOs.
